Which stories makes you feel disheartened?
This picture is of a boy from a village in Ukraine who, due to hunger, killed and ate his 3-year-old brother. His name is Illarion Nishchenko. This was an event of the Russian famine of 1921–1922.
The picture below is of a starving family, during the Madras famine of 1876.
Now imagine if you were born in these places during this era and were one of those unlucky ones.
We are born in an era which is the most advanced era in human history. We have a level of comfort and convenience that no other generation in the history of mankind has ever experienced.
We sometimes forget to be grateful for the things we have in our lives due to our greed to get more. There is food on our plate and a roof over our heads, which is still a dream for some people. Instead of feeling blessed for what we have, we complain about not having much in our lives.
So my friend, instead of feeling bad about being lonely, feel grateful for what you have and try to help as many people as you can. Helping others will give you inner happiness and joy that no relationship can give.
It doesn't matter what your situation is, just smile, be happy and say I can deal with it.
